“Eucharist began at Bethlehem in Mary’s arms” says St. Peter Julian Eymard. Eucharistic Lord has blessed our Kristhu Jyothi Province with new mission at Thiruverkadu. On July 3rd we have taken up this new Quasi Parish. We had solemn Eucharistic celebration presided by Most. Rev. Fr. Stanley Sebastian V. G. Along with V.G, V.F, Chancellor, Fr. Provincial, Former Parish Priest and our Blessed Sacrament fathers participated.  It was a grand celebration. I am installed as first Parish Priest of Thiruverkadu Quasi parish. New parish consists of 160 families divided into 6 Basic Christian communities. This parish has vast boundaries. We have legion of Mary, choir group, altar servers, youth group. Every day we have Mass at 6.30 a.m. on Sunday we have two masses at 6.30 and 8.30. I began to visit houses in the evening. People are very active. People are very supportive for the liturgical activities. We have begun the catechism classes. Most of the families are simple and poor families. Parish church is small. We don’t have presbytery so I stay in Velappenchavady community. Every day it is very difficult to cross the road. Forty people are coming for everyday mass. Eucharistic seed is sown and it has to grow by the intercession of our founder Saint Peter Julian Eymard.
