Official Concluding Eucharist of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration
The evening of January 4th marked the official concluding Eucharist of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration, held at St. Francis Xavier’s Chapel in Colaba. Presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias, the Archbishop of Mumbai, and Bishop Thomas of Vasai, this sacred occasion celebrated 60 years of the congregation’s presence in India. The event was graced by the dignitaries present the previous day, including Fr. Benzi (Superior General), Fr. Jose Antonio (General Consultor), Fr. Philip Watkins (Provincial of Australia), Fr. Peter Jayakanthan (Provincial of India), and a host of Indian SSS priests.
