The parish of St. Alban and St. Joseph, in the diocese of Shrewsbury, was formed in 2010 through the linking of the two historical parishes of Our Lady of the Sea and St. Joseph, Seacombe and St. Alban’s, Liscard. Cutting across the differences, the parish community, from the very beginning, has been a place of compassion where the meaning of the charity of Christ is made plain. It is a popular, cheerful parish, but the sick and the needy are not forgotten. The community makes every effort possible to spread joy and hope to the people. Especially the programs devised in the parish are steered towards including everybody regardless of their background and catering to the spiritual and material needs of the sick, poor, needy and the children through the organisations such as: Messy church, SVP, School and Men and Ladies group. The parishioners have a very deep and fond love for Mary. They volunteer to serve the sick in Lourdes and are organised in an association which sponsors sick people to go to Lourdes every year. In the present, the Blessed Sacrament Fathers are running the parish with a special dedication to the spirituality of Eucharist. The parish has got everything needed to make you happy in this life and also in the next.
